Midslumber Media is a queer woman owned horror media store based in NE Portland Oregon’s Vernon neighborhood. Half bookstore, half video store-dedicated entirely to the horror genre!
Midslumber Media is the first documented horror video store to be owned and operated by a woman!
On our shelves (in person and online!) you’ll find all sorts of horror media from new and used horror books and movies (DVD, Blu-ray, 4K, Boutique, and VHS), horror vinyl soundtracks and CD’s, magazines, gifts, dark romance/erotica, and so much more!
Midslumber Media opened early 2025 and is owned and solely operated by lifelong horror fan, Michaela “Mick” Granger. As a queer woman owned business, community and accessibility is of the utmost importance. Much like the horror genre-the horror community is massive, diverse, and growing! We strive to create and maintain a space where everyone feels represented, supported, and welcome.
